SUTOR Global acted as the main mechanical contractor during the ethylene unit shutdown at the hot section, compressor station, and Separation Line III in the chemical plant in Litvínov. This project is crucial for the customer for several reasons – particularly in terms of safety, legislative requirements, maintenance, general repairs, modernization, investments, and operational optimization.
The shutdown took place from 16. 4. 2025 to 30th 5. 2025, with engineering days scheduled according to the timetable from 23. 4. 2025 to 25th 5. 2025. During these periods, together with our partners and employees, we ensured welding works, assembly activities, scaffolding, insulation, coatings, valve repairs, machining of metallurgical materials, construction works, and logistics. It can thus be stated that we provided comprehensive assurance of all activities related to the shutdown.

Based on detailed planning and preparation of our company’s technical team of more than thirty members, we were able to complete the shutdown on time, safely, and with the highest possible quality. More than 300 workers, consisting of our core employees and strategic partners, participated in the implementation.
