Current employees of SUTOR Global s. r. o. carried out extensive scaffolding works for PRODECO a.s. during the period July – December 2023 at the assembly site “JANA” near Duchcov.
The project was part of the construction of a new K 1600.1/K112 heavy machine – an excavator, intended for operation in the lignite mines of the SD Bílina group.
The objective was to ensure safe access and working areas for assembly and mechanical works during the completion of individual parts of the heavy machine.
Key activities included:
- Design, erection, and dismantling of spatial scaffolding on the steel structures of the excavator.
- Ensuring access to elevated and hard-to-reach parts of the machine.
- Coordination of scaffolding works with the main assembly schedule of the construction.
- Ensuring OHS and expert supervision during all stages of assembly.
The scaffolding structures were designed with an emphasis on safety, stability, and work process efficiency, while adhering to the time dependencies of PRODECO a.s.’s assembly activities.
