The company SUTOR Global s.r.o. carried out a medium repair of the vertical pump SPP PUMPS RG31 7SP for the plant Air Products s.r.o. – Teplice.
The project was executed between April and June 2025 with the aim of restoring full functionality of the equipment after detecting a mechanical seal leak and damage to key components.
The work began with the disassembly of the pump directly at the customer’s site and its subsequent transport, including the electric motor, to the workshops of SUTOR Global.
After conducting initial inspections and measurements, the medium repair of the pump commenced, which included:
- Complete disassembly and cleaning of the pump
- Measurement and assessment of the technical condition of all parts
- Repair of the damaged shaft at the sliding bearings – renovation was carried out in the SUTOR Global workshops, significantly reducing costs for the customer
- Manufacture of new sliding bearings, impeller rings, and casing equalization
- Dynamic balancing of the pump rotor
- Application of protective coatings and preparation of a comprehensive repair report with measurement records
- Reinstallation of the pump and professional supervision during commissioning
After successful trial operation, the equipment was handed over for full operation, where it continues to function reliably. Based on positive results, the repair of another pump in the adjacent position was planned.
