Current employees of SUTOR Global s. r. o. carried out extensive scaffolding works for PRODECO a.s. during April – October 2021 at the SD Bílina site.
The project was part of the general overhaul of the ZP 5500.5/Z79 giant machine – spreader, which is among the largest technological machines of its type in brown coal mines in the Czech Republic.
The implementation aim was to provide safe access structures for all stages of the spreader repair, including frame repairs, conveyor belts, and the rotating part of the machine.
Main activities:
- Assembly and dismantling of spatial scaffolding for repairs on the giant machine structure
- Providing access to elevated and hard-to-reach parts of the machine
- Construction of working platforms, walkways, and service gangways
- Coordination of scaffolding works with the general overhaul schedule and individual trades
- Ensuring health and safety and professional supervision throughout the implementation
All works were carried out in accordance with technical standards and safety regulations of the Severočeské doly Bílina mine.
