SUTOR Global s.r.o. – Construction Division implemented the project for slope stabilization of the embankment body of road III/25114 (in the direction of Chomutov).
The objective of the project was to ensure slope stability and restore functional parameters of the road through reinforcement and drainage of the embankment body over a length of approximately 440 meters.
The project was implemented as a general construction contract during the period June – October 2024 and included the following main activities:
- Geodetic works – surveying and site layout
- Slope stabilization with quarry stone including construction of retaining walls and stone thresholds, which serve to avoid interventions on adjacent properties
- Slope drainage with drainage piping and stormwater management
- Earthworks – excavation, backfilling, fill material, and shoulder adjustments
- Slope reinforcement with stone riprap including aggregate wedging
- Slope establishment and seeding by manual sowing
- Installation of H1 road barriers over a length of nearly 460 meters
- Implementation of traffic engineering measures (TEM) including tree removal
The total volume of quarry stone riprap was more than 1,500 m³, using aggregate fraction 300–600 mm.

The slope stabilization in Strážky ensures long-term stability of road III/25114, protects adjacent properties from landslides and erosion, and increases road traffic safety.
