SUTOR Global s.r.o. carried out the repair of the bearing housing of the wheel gearbox M 10180 using the thermal spraying method.
The aim of the repair was to restore the functional surfaces and maintain precise concentricity tolerances of 0.02 mm between both diameters, while preserving the original lubrication holes 4 × Ø 8 mm.
The repair process followed OTK standards and included these steps:
- Initial OTK inspection
- Pre-machining of damaged surfaces in preparation for spraying
- Masking of vulnerable areas and surface blasting
- Thermal spraying of base material NiTi
- Spraying of the final layer using 1% C Steel (carbon steel) material
- Unmasking and grinding to precise dimensions
- Finishing of the component and final OTK inspection
