SUTOR Global s.r.o. served as the main contractor for the comprehensive renovation of control room K 2.2 at the billet rolling mill in Buštěhrad. The project focused on the modernization and renewal of the rolling mill control cabin, resulting in improved safety, operator comfort, operational reliability, and extended technological equipment lifespan.
The implementation included complete coordination of mechanical, construction, insulation, metalwork, painting, and electrical activities.
The renovation took place from September 15, 2025 to October 4, 2025, during which the rolling mill operations were suspended. Thanks to precise preparation and cooperation of all parties involved, the reconstruction was completed in a record time of 20 days, and the control room was handed over for recommissioning on October 6, 2025.
