replacement<\/strong> at the ethylene unit of <strong>ORLEN Unipetrol RPA s.r.o.<\/strong> in Z\u00e1lu\u017e\u00ed u&nbsp;Litv\u00ednova.<br\/>The project&#8217;s&nbsp;objective was the <strong>modernization and renewal of the high-pressure SY steam distribution system<\/strong>, which ensures its distribution from main sources to the operational units of the ethylene unit.<\/p>\n\n<p>Sources of high-pressure steam include:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>pyrolysis furnaces <strong>BA-101 \u2013 BA-111<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>new NBH boiler house<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>steam boilers <strong>K-1 and K-2<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The project built upon previous phases of SY steam pipeline replacements and accounted for connections to sections retained from earlier reconstructions.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Operational and Technical Parameters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Medium Type:<\/strong> high-pressure SY steam<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pressure:<\/strong> 11.9 MPa(g)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Temperature:<\/strong> 520 \u00b1 8&nbsp;\u00b0C<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pipe Material:<\/strong> 10CrMo9-10<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Fittings and Valve Material:<\/strong> 11CrMoVNb9-10<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Piping Scope:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DN 15\u2013350, wall thickness 1.56\u201340 mm<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total pipeline length: more than <strong>700 meters<\/strong> on pipe racks No. 3, 4, 9, 11, 12, 14, K, and N. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The installation of the new piping was carried out through <strong>prefabrication to the maximum extent possible before the TA2025 technological shutdown<\/strong>.<br\/>During the shutdown, <strong>all high-pressure steam sources and consumers were reconnected<\/strong> to the new SY steam distribution system.<\/p>\n\n<p>The following activities were performed on the project:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scaffolding Erection<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dismantling of the original SY pipeline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of new piping systems and valves<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NDT weld inspections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preheating and post-weld heat treatment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of drainage stations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of temporary setups for steam pipeline blow-throughs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of insulation and final coatings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Project infrastructure<\/strong>.<br\/>The company <strong>SUTOR Global<\/strong> provided complete <strong>supply, prefabrication, installation, and inspection of the piping system<\/strong>, including all supporting activities, which contributed to the safe and reliable operation of high-pressure steam within the unit.
